The Legends Car Club is proud to have donated over $50,000 to local charities since 2003

The Legends Car Club sponsors 2 Car Shows each year.  Our goal is to give a portion of our proceeds to local charities that help children.  We chose the "Forgotten Children's Fund" because 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the organization.  To learn more about this wonderful cause, go to the following site: www.forgottenchildrensfund.org

Forgotten Children’s Fund remembers in its 30th year

Here’s a short version of the article

Started in 1976 the charity served about a dozen families.  Last year it helped nearly 800 families with 3,000 children.

We get volunteers from 6 years old to 90 from all walks of life.  It takes a whole crew to put bikes together.  The volunteers wrap thousands and thousands of gifts.

Home deliveries of gifts and food are made in five counties by dozens of Santas on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Each Santa makes deliveries to about 12-16 homes from morning to night using borrowed trucks and volunteer drivers.
Once at a home, they try to get in and out in less than 10 minutes.  We want it to be their Christmas, not ours.
You can see the gratefulness in their eyes, especially the moms.  Maybe for the first time their children will have a true Christmas.

We keep a small portion of funds in our account for any future charitable needs.  As a family oriented Car Club, we feel strongly about giving to the needy.

In 2003 we donated $2,400 to the Forgotten Children's Fund, $2,600 to  Snoqualmie Valley Events, and $3,363 to Kirkland Downtown on the Lake to support their local charities.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this year and enabled the Legends to donate over $8,000 to charity in 2004.

In 2005 we donated $4,030 to the Forgotten Children's Fund, $611 to Snoqualmie Valley Events, $500 to the Snoqualmie Bike Rodeo, and $6,758 to Kirkland Downtown on the Lake to support their local charities.

In 2006 we donated $4,500 to the Forgotten Children's Fund, $1,120 to Snoqualmie Valley Events, $500 to the Snoqualmie Bike Rodeo, $3,710 to Kirkland Downtown on the Lake to support their local charities, and $400 to the 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk.

The Kirkland Show was nearly rained out in 2007 but was offset by a very successful Snoqualmie Show . We were still profitable and donated $2,000 to the Forgotten Children's Fund, $2,039 to Snoqualmie Valley Events, $500 to the Snoqualmie Bike Rodeo, $3,710 to Kirkland Downtown on the Lake to support their local charities and $3,500 to 4 Paws for Ability.
